ANTONIO BADONI FOUNDATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF INDUSTRIAL CULTURE
Electro Adda S.p.A. is one of the Founders of the "Foundation for the Protection of industrial culture" dedicated to Antonio Badoni, one of the great names of Lecco's industrial history, promoted by Confindustria Lecco (Italian Manufacturers' Association) with the Chamber of Commerce of Lecco, Credito Valtellinese Group Foundation and a large number of member companies.
The Foundation proposes as a priority objective the promotion and support of Technical Education, which plays a strategic role in the growth and competitiveness of local enterprises, giving a strong signal to initiate a revival strategy towards industrial technical education.
OBJECTIVES:
- Strengthen the links between business world and local technical and professional schools with actions of close collaboration and business evidence
- Extend and update the technical-professional training of teachers and students
- Provide financial support for modernization of laboratories
- Strengthen the links between school curricula and technological development
- Promote the values and opportunities of technical education
- Protect and preserve Lecco’s technical culture and heritage
ULTIMATE PURPOSE:
- Promote the increase of enrollment in the first classes and consequently of graduates
- Have professional profiles in appropriate and consistent extent with the professional needs required by Lecco’s manufacturing system
